Many of my adult clients come to me wanting to overcome dysfunctional patterns of behavior, heal from trauma or abuse, or perhaps answer the larger existential questions about their purpose in life. My attachment-based somatic approach to therapy is centered in helping you achieve lasting acceptance as you deepen your self-understanding and expand your emotional resiliency.

I offer individual therapy for pre-teens (10 & up) that supports self-esteem and confidence during a time when emotions, friendships, and identity can feel confusing or overwhelming. Through age-appropriate, supportive conversations and personalized therapeutic activities, pre-teens can learn to better understand their feelings, trust themselves, and handle challenges with more ease. My approach also helps pre-teens build healthier peer connections by practicing communication, boundaries, and resilience in a safe, encouraging space.

The lifelong journey of self-exploration and self-understanding really begins to take shape during the teenage years. I help my teen clients find stability in their sense of self and identity amidst the rapid emotional, social, and physical changes they’re experiencing. By helping them form healthy relationships with their own emotions, identify their needs and communicate their boundaries, my teenage clients can weather the turbulence of their lives with groundedness and resilience.

Couples therapy with me is a collaborative, down-to-earth process where we slow things down and look at what’s really happening beneath the arguments or distance. I help partners understand each other’s nervous systems, attachment patterns, and protective responses—so conflict becomes a doorway to connection rather than a dead end. Together, we practice new ways of communicating, repairing hurt, and building a relationship that feels safer, more intimate, and more alive.

I help families understand the patterns beneath their conflicts—how stress, past experiences, and attachment needs shape the way everyone reacts to one another. Using a gentle, body-based approach, we slow things down so each person can feel safer, more regulated, and truly heard. From that steadier place, families can build trust, improve communication, and create more supportive ways of being together.

A note on Insurance:
Due to the constraints insurance companies place on session limits, diagnoses, and treatment, I do not take insurance. However, I can provide you with a receipt of service (Superbill) to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. If you are interested in pursuing reimbursement, be sure to check with your insurance provider in advance to learn what your plan allows.
